The Belasco de Baquedano winery covers over two hundred acres of land which the Belasco family has owned for over a hundred years and making wine for eight generations. Their premium wines are produced from French clones in their original form, making them pure in color and richness. Growing of the grapes is done in an environmentally safe way that includes unpolluted air and irrigation from melted snow flowing from the Aconcagua Mountains.
The team behind Malbec Wines from Argentina is Bertrand Bourdil and Jose Ponce, a wine consultant and winemaker respectively. Under their guidance, the wine made exclusively from estate fruit has retained its traditional artisan style that preserves a subtle aroma and flavor. The winery has special tanks in which red wine is fermented including its skin and seeds resulting in a rich deep color.
The indepth process initiated by the two winemakers does not end when the wine is ready but extends to its unique storage in a special designed lounge. The temperature as well as humidity of the lounge is controlled to keep the wines for longer while preserving their unique taste. Malbec Wines are a true fusion of their French background and Argentine influence.

Greece is one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. Greek wines and their varieties were well known and traded throughout the Mediterranean. The Ancient Greeks introduced vines such as Vitis vinifera and made wine in their numerous colonies in Italy, Sicily, southern France, and Spain. The Vitis vinifera grape which thrives in temperate climates near coastal areas with mild winters and dry summers adapted well and flourished in the Northern Mediterranean areas. Join us this Saturday at the shop from 4-7pm at the shop…we’ll be sipping and pouring some of our favorite Greek wines!!
