‘Why Not Wednesday’
John Bookwalter – Owner & Winemaker will be at the shop June 29th from 4-7pm!!! These wines are awesome.
I first was introduced to J. Bookwalter wines while working for a small wine distribution company in Colorado. I remember falling in love with the purity of their wines. It was shortly after that I found myself traveling to Washington State to visit wine country and on a jet boat cruising up the Columbia River Gorge with John Bookwalter. The land in eastern Washington is shaped by the by the Columbia River Gorge, a valley that formed from the Missoula Floods. A cycle of floods that occurred several times over a 2,000 year period. Talk about Terroir!
Ten generations of the Bookwalter family have been involved in American agriculture. But it was Jerry bookwalter, generation nine and father of John Bookwalter who let the family into viticulture. After graduating from UC-Davis in 1963, Jerry spend 13 years farming California’s San Joaquin Valley before moving his family in 1976 to the Tri-Cities in Washington State.
Today J.Bookwalter has grown from one of Washington’s oldest wineries into one of Pacific Northwests most recognized quality wine producers. Relying on exceptional vineyard sources and meticulous winemaking to produce some of the worlds finest wines.
Select wines from J. Bookwalter will be on sale until July 5th.

Four Roses Cocktail
Four Roses handcrafts 10 distinct and extraordinary Bourbon recipes, then mingles them by hand to create our family of award-winning brands. Artistry such as this is how they survived Prohibition, The Great Depression, Two World Wars, and 40 years of exile from the US, only to be named American Whisky Distiller of the Year for 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015 – four times in the last five years – by Whisky Magazine. Handcrafting this way may be a bit more time consuming, but one sip, and you’ll no doubt agree, it’s worth the extra effort. Sample this lovely at the shop this Saturday.
