Appellation Wine Company
Appellation Wine Company is the definition of Vineyards, People & History. They proudly work with a group of family-owned estates that have had a long history in California. A key family that Scott Woodward has been friends and working with for 20 years is the Nivens Family. The Nivens planted 40 acres of vines in Edna Valley 45 years ago before Edna Valley was recognized as a growing region. We are personally excited to have Scott in the store March 30th to share the stories as he is a personal friend of the store, along with being one of the reasons that I started in the wine industry.
Join us in store with Scott Woodward for our ‘Why Not Wednesday’ tasting March 30th from 4-7pm!
Select wine will be on sale from March 30th – April 5th.

Baileyana, Chardonnay GFC (2013) Reg $22 Sale $18
Baileyana is one of a number of wineries producing wines from the world-class Edna Valley appellation. The north-south valley’s proximity to the ocean makes these vineyards some of the closest to the sea of any in the world. Cool Pacific breezes are channeled straight into the mouth of the valley, bringing frequent fog and a remarkably mild climate.
